Now, here are ten differences between Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers' second season and its Super Sentai counterpart. 10 There's a Distinct Plot in Dairanger The basic story formula from the first Mighty Morphin ' season was carried over into the second after Lord Zedd finally settled in. Zedd would think of a way to destroy Earth (namely Angel. So, the Japanese families who supported the Super Sentai for too long are also arguing which Super Sentai Team is the strongest. Even the former and current Super Sentai Actors and Actresses had mixed reactions about this. I'm afraid they'll never make it alive in the 45th Super Sentai in 2021 A.D.
Well, after all this time, we’re finally done with… wait, hang on…
OK, joking aside, we’re technically done with another series, although it’s a miniseries, but we’re done all the same! Big thanks as always go out to Howling_Snail for the BD and to Over-Time for the subs!
This was a fun miniseries and I was happy to see both Yamato and Marvelous return as they are easily among my favorite Super Sentai Reds. For a 4-episode miniseries, the Strongest Battle was a fun diversion and while the other dinosaur Sentai teams were missed, the Zyuranger and MMPR references were great.

Unlike usual, the batch for this is already out because there was no good reason not to release 4 episodes straight to a batch. There is a director’s cut version that cuts the series into a movie, and while I have a version of that script with the new lines timed out thanks to LegendaryLass at PocketUniverse, I haven’t yet gotten anyone to assist with the translation. If anyone is interested, drop me a line and we’ll get that released separately in the future.
All Super Sentai Teams
Other than that, we have Akibaranger Season 1’s re-release coming up in a week and a half or two followed by the kick-off for Akibaranger Season 2, and the batches for LuPat and Kyoryuger should be out next weekend. Otherwise, we’ll have a bit of a longer wait than usual before the next Sentai series as Ryusoulger is being reduced to three BD boxes from the usual four, but Box 1 will contain 4 extra episodes as a result. I actually haven’t confirmed if Howling_Snail plans to get those discs, so while I can’t fully confirm it yet, from my end of things, I’m definitely game to do it, so if it does indeed go through, look for that to start in November!
